Facilitator Soft Skills Training – Kid Empowerment Program

Context: Stakeholders of a nonprofit empowerment and leadership program for children wished to develop a soft skills training for its program facilitators to be incorporated as a required component of the onboarding process.
Action: Worked with SMEs and stakeholders to design and develop an in-person, instructor-led training in PowerPoint based on industry-standard methods of building learning objectives specific to the needs of the target population and by employing Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction to ensure effective learning transfer.
Results: The organization now has performance improvement tools to develop its program facilitators’ capacity to lead with an attitude, approach, and demeanor consistent with the empowerment program paradigm by conveying the curricula in both content and spirit.
